1. When did you get into art?

Hmm, difficult to pinpoint when exactly, but I’ve always been “into” art! Ever since I was a wee bairn with crayons and markers (but isn’t that every little kid??) and I just never stopped taking art in school and drawing lessons… There’s something infinitely satisfying about creating things, a form of escapism, and uhh I guess that’s pretty much why I started/kept doing it :’) /nerd

3. Show us your oldest piece of art you have on hand.

HAHA omgggg I love laughing over old art, yay! LET’S ALL DO IT GUYS. Actually I did an art-timeline thingy at my LJ a while back…but this is the oldest one I have around lulzzz

22. List at least one of your “artspirations.”

Ugh SOOOO MANY… (and I seem to find more every day!) buuut in contemporary artists, I’m a super-super big fan of: Carson Ellis, Emily Carroll, Kali Ciesemier, Jillian Tamaki, Mattias Adolfsson, Tomer Hanuka, Shaun Tan, Jon McNaught…in addition to all the lovely talented people I discover/follow/stalk on tumblr and elsewhere on the internetz.
